Why hello there! So as promised, here’s a better look at Julep’s Padma (Classic with a Twist) in a simple nail design.
Also, excuse the horrible nail edges; this was another three-in-the-morning-I’m-so-tired-why-am-I-doing-this-now kind of job.
So, as you can probably tell by now, we like simple. And simple this was: two polishes, one on top of the other. Plain and simple. (I’ll stop saying simple now…sorry.)
But in all seriousness, all I did was apply two coats of Julep’s Padma (Classic with a Twist), and let that dry. Then I followed up with Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Copa-Banana (#770).
(Just as a side note, the Sally Hansen polish was an absolute pain. in. the. arse. to apply. We’re no strangers to glitter and sparkles where the trick is to place the brush down on the nail as opposed to dragging it across. But this one…it may not look like it, but there was an insanely disproportionate amount of goop to bits. On the upside, I definitely did not need to put a top coat on afterwards!)
And here’s the finished product!
(The purple is truly gorgeous! If you can get your hands on a bottle, it’d make the perfect fall/winter colour!)
’til next time,
